An AI clinical scribe that turns messy electronic health records or spoken Spanish into clean SOAP notes. Whisper handles speech to text, Helsinki-NLP translates, and local FLAN-T5 and BART models do the summarizing. Everything runs offline, so patient data never leaves the machine. Built under time pressure at the Hackwell Hackathon (UNT College of Information) and placed 6th.

Attendance without pen and paper. The camera recognizes registered students in about five seconds, marks them present, and emails the attendance report automatically. Tested with 200+ students at 90%+ accuracy in real classroom lighting.
Java · Client work
A payments and financial records app built solo for a startup client through Abuotecho, integrating payment gateway APIs and exposing REST endpoints. The architecture, the data model, and every iteration from first commit to handover.
Python · Automation
A voice assistant that controls apps, streams music, and reads live schedules, with a secure, authenticated complaint box. 85% command accuracy using Google TTS and the SpeechRecognition API.
Graduate research
State level panel regression with HAC robust errors on immigration enforcement and monthly house price returns. Wrote and presented the full paper.
